CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Matt is the founder of MHW. He has an MBA and BA (music) from University of Miami. As a jazz and blues artist, Matt has performed at The Kennedy Center, Adrienne Arsht Center, Strathmore Music Center, and for the President of the United States.

VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER

Mike has been in the hospitality industry for 28 years, most recently as the Director of Food & Beverage of the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa where he held multiple roles in his 11-year tenure. He loves the challenge of inspiring and motivating his team to surprise and delight guests with the unexpected and to create memorable moments through creative event planning. Mike is a proud graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Hospitality Business.

DIRECTOR OF ENTERTAINMENT

Lowell manages MHW’s hotel client portfolio. In addition to his many years of experience helping hotel managers design Live Entertainment programs, Lowell is a GRAMMY Award-winning upright bassist. He has a Masters of Music and Bachelors of Music from the University of Miami Frost School of Music.

DIRECTOR OF PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Ian Renaud leads partnership development at MHW, focusing on building strategic relationships with hospitality brands, hotels, restaurants, and resorts to deliver impactful entertainment programming. He connects hospitality properties with MHW's curated experiences that enhance guest offerings and strengthen brand positioning. With a deep understanding of both the entertainment and hospitality industries, Ian plays a key role in identifying alignment opportunities and driving collaborations that bring cultural value to hospitality spaces.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & SPECIAL PROJECTS MANAGER

With over 15 years in the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, and cruise ships, Jessica Berger brings a wealth of experience to the MHW team. Her business acumen, coupled with a deep connection to music through meditation and sound healing, offers a unique and valuable perspective to the team.

ENTERTAINMENT SALES MANAGER

Briana is a multi-faceted creative and musician with a passion for curating high-quality experiences through live music and performance. With a background in customer service, event production, booking management, artist development, and vocal coaching, she blends artistic vision with strategic execution to bring events to life. Briana is dedicated to helping hospitality properties develop community through entertainment.

ENTERTAINMENT SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Kaila Spearman is an artist, musician and creative who pilots MHW’s private event sales. Coming from a small town in Connecticut, Kaila thrives in the Miami music scene. With her Bachelor's of Music in Music Business from the University of Miami, she has a deep love and appreciation for both the creative and administrative aspects of her the industry.

DJ SPECIALIST, ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER

Juan is MHW’s DJ specialist with deep roots in the Texas DJ scene. His passion for music and sound began early, leading him to pursue formal education in recording arts at Media Tech.

In addition to his career as a DJ, Juan is dedicated to giving back to the community. He works with the Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering, helping children who stutter through educational programs designed to support their growth and confidence.

ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER

David Gonzalez is a multi-instrumentalist from Miami, FL. Having played countless gigs in numerous bands throughout the years, he is well versed when it comes to being a musician. David also has experience teaching music to kids and adults privately as well as through nonprofit organizations for underprivileged children. He has a background in sales and has a keen eye for talent in the hospitality industry.

SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Lauren is the initial point of contact for MHW’s hospitality partners and partnership development team. With a bachelor’s degree in music production and business from the University of Vermont, Lauren brings a creative, detail-oriented approach to developing curated guest experiences. Her background in fine-dining hospitality and music industry environments supports a strong understanding of luxury guest service and live entertainment.

MANAGER-ON-DUTY

With over a decade of experience in Cruise Line Entertainment and News TV media production, Ted has managed high-level technical operations in fast-paced, global environments. 

He most recently served as the Entertainment Technical Manager on one of the Top British cruise lines in the world.

Before joining the cruise industry, Ted worked as a Senior Production Admin at a leading TV network. 

His combined expertise in broadcast media and live entertainment makes him a dynamic force in the hospitality industry.

Atlanta Ambassador

Atlanta-based singer and pianist Elaina Trent has been performing locally for over five years, captivating audiences with her soulful style and personable approach. Known for creating an inviting atmosphere, she prioritizes genuine connections in her performances. Elaina is proud to contribute to Atlanta's arts scene and to foster community through music.

Austin Ambassador

Hailing from southwest Texas, DJ Cortez brings an eclectic mix of Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, and more to audiences across the country. With formal training from Austin’s Media Tech Institute, he has toured with hip-hop groups and currently spins as a venue booking manager. His fresh spin on vintage samples delivers vibrant sets that energize any crowd.

Austin Ambassador

Austin, Texas musician Gus Miller leads his band, Gus Miller & The Buzz Killers, and performs American Roots music blending bluegrass, jazz, country, and swing. Known for his mandolin, guitar, and lap steel skills, he’s an active part of the Americana scene with a debut album set for spring 2025. Expect to see Gus making waves in Americana and bluegrass music.

Key West Ambassador

A fixture in Key West’s music scene, Gary Hempsey is a seasoned performer with 25 years of captivating audiences as a soloist and bandleader. Signed with Conch Town Records, he’s earned accolades for his Americana performances, including Grammy consideration in 2024. Gary’s passion shines in his heartfelt music that resonates with fans across the Keys.

Key West Ambassador

Key West musician R.B. Tolar is a Gibson-sponsored guitarist and songwriter who has performed with legends like Eric Clapton and Paul McCartney. With roots in Southern rock and blues, Tolar’s collaborations with Grammy-winning producer Russ Titelman keep him at the forefront of the local music scene. His jazz guitar performances are a staple in Florida’s finest venues.

Los Angeles Ambassador

Sophia Lin, a DJ based in Los Angeles, has taken her dynamic sets to over 20 countries and top U.S. clubs. Her career highlights include residencies at iconic venues like Tao in Las Vegas and the Playboy Club in Macao. Known for her energetic style and cutting-edge selections, Sophia is one of LA’s top DJs, playing for high-profile audiences around the globe.

Miami Ambassador

Miami-based Mimi Rose is an Argentinian multi-instrumentalist blending RnB melodies with Latin rhythms. Known for powerful lyrics and a strong stage presence, she’s collaborated with artists like Shakira and Christina Aguilera. As the first artist on Immigration Records, Mimi captivates audiences at Miami’s top venues with her soulful performances.

New England Ambassador

Native Rhode Islander Marc Philip has 35 years of performance experience across the Northeast, with two decades as a regular on Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard. As an experienced sound engineer and event coordinator, he has managed large-scale productions and performed alongside artists like the Marshall Tucker Band. Marc’s deep industry insight makes him a key figure in the local music scene.

New Jersey & New York Ambassador

For over a decade, DJ Giselle has been igniting dance floors at a wide array of events, from weddings to nonprofit gatherings. Based in New Jersey & New York, she expertly blends genres to create an inclusive musical experience, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the atmosphere her music creates.

New Orleans Ambassador

Shawan is a deeply soulful songstress, originally hailing from Central Pennsylvania. Her music is a layered mix of rootsy neo-soul that is heavily influenced by black american music. Shawan began writing music at 13 years old, crafting her with seasoning from artists from Jimi Hendrix to Erykah Badu. She began to play live in 2008, having since released 4 E.P.s, toured throughout the US and abroad, eventually relocating to New Orleans where she has established herself as a regular gigging musician. Playing solo or with her band, Shawan has played many iconic venues and festivals, such as New Orleans Jazz Festival.

Phoenix/Tucson Ambassador

Arizona-based musician Brady Grey is a versatile singer, guitarist, producer, and songwriter who performs over 200 shows a year. His career highlights include opening for major acts like Bon Jovi and composing music for brands like NBC and BBC. With over 15 million streams, Brady’s talent and dedication make him a respected artist in the industry.

Phoenix/Tucson Ambassador

Lennon VanderDoes is a Phoenix-based indie folk singer-songwriter known for his unique interpretations of popular music. With a rich background that includes a notable appearance on "The Voice," Lennon captivates audiences with his heartfelt performances and acoustic guitar prowess. Originally from Delaware, his music is inspired by the indie folk scenes of both the East and West Coasts. Lennon performs over 200 shows annually, bringing a local touch as a cultural ambassador for MHW, ensuring guests experience the authentic charm of Phoenix through his music.

Salt Lake City Ambassador

Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Angie Petty is a singer-songwriter whose music blends pop and jazz influences from artists like Amy Winehouse and India Arie. A skilled producer and performer, she has shared stages with Grammy winners such as Jon Batiste and released her debut album Timing in 2021. Angie’s mission is to connect through honest lyrics, making her a rising talent to watch.

San Diego Ambassador

A multi-instrumentalist and San Diego State theater graduate, Dakota Ringer has been performing for over 15 years. Known for his rock, soul, and pop vocal versatility, he’s played venues like the House of Blues and has been nominated for three San Diego Music Awards. Dakota’s unique sound combines live instrumentation with loop pedal effects, captivating audiences across genres.

San Francisco Ambassador

San Francisco jazz vocalist Thu Ho fuses her Vietnamese musical roots with jazz and classical training, creating a unique vocal style. She has collaborated with prominent musicians like Joe Lovano and Victor Wooten and performed at SFJAZZ Miner Auditorium. As a media correspondent and jazz artist, Thu bridges cultures through her music and public speaking.

Savannah Ambassador

Savannah, Georgia’s Logan Thomas is a wedding and event musician who has graced stages from Red Rocks to Atlanta’s Masquerade. With a style influenced by John Mayer and Ed Sheeran, he combines soulful lyrics and smooth guitar, making him a sought-after performer for any occasion. Logan’s expertise extends into business, where he helps artists grow through Modern Musician.

Tampa Ambassador

A Tampa staple, DJ JT Radio’s career began under the mentorship of DJ Charlie Chase. Known for his electrifying club sets and seamless transitions, JT has held residencies at premier nightclubs and corporate events alike. With a spot in the DJ lineups for Street Laced DJs, he brings unmatched energy to every performance.

Washington D.C. Ambassador

The first place winner of the Billie Holiday Vocal Competition and semi-finalist in the American Traditions Competition, jazz vocalist Sara Jones has toured 49 states and performed in numerous concert halls across the country. Jones has performed as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, and Ravinia Festival Orchestra, under the batons of Emil de Cou and Erich Kunzel. In the Baltimore/Washington area, Jones was a featured vocalist with the Jazz Ambassadors and has graced the stages of the Hippodrome Theater, Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Strathmore Mansion, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
